Steelhead/Rainbows :
Lake Superior. Marquette and Big Bay. Lake Michigan- Islands south of Fairport to Straits of Mackinac. Lake Huron- Northern shoreline to Drummond Island. St. Mary's River in the river up to the Rapids. Steelhead spawn in late March thru late May. they can be found at river mouths and in the rivers and streams during spawning times. In the summer they are found in the cooler water offshore in all lakes
